Our Purpose…To Be and Make Disciple Makers of Jesus Christ
Oasis Church vision…
-to go after those far from God and lead them to follow Him and teach them to do the same for others far from God
- we want to “target” people who are very far from God, people who don’t like church, people who other churches cannot or will not reach
-this will affect budget, programs, music, calendar…everything that Oasis Church will do!
If we don’t launch Oasis Church, there will be people in North Florida who…
- will go to hell
- will not honor God (which is the whole reason we were made!)
- won’t experience Jesus as Savior and Lord
- will not experience living in community with other disciples of Jesus
- will not know how to serve like Jesus
- will not lead others to become followers of Jesus
Simply put, Oasis Church will be a place where…
-people will be pointed to Jesus as the only hope and salvation
-people will learn to love God and love others
-people will join in and serve as one team to make a difference in our world
-people will be taught and given tools to make disciples
There are thousands of people that need to hear the news that Jesus is the answer. The stakes are high, the vision is huge, but the choice to begin to do something must be made now...it has been said, the most effective evangelistic move we can make is to take part in planting new churches. I am looking forward to being part of this church plant and asking God to use us for His glory for years to come... what will your part be?
Oasis Church North Florida...launching a new church...together.
Jeremy & Jeanine, I am thrilled to be praying for God's work in your life as you follow His call.
As far as your home goes, I am sure God has already hand picked the right family to love your home as you all have. God bless your family as you step out in faith.
My very dear friend lives in jacksonville so next time I am up that way I will have to hunt you down. (lol) well I mean look for you. She actually lives not far from where you are planning to plant Oasis NF
God Bless & keep you strong
